CF's note: Due to recorder issues, there is no summary for the first gap. Sorry. :(

_____

At a meeting in LaCalma's office, Libby shares the results of the focus group she has conducted. Results show that people like Dorina, they are sympathetic. She seems like an approachable person, down-to-earth. Lavinia listens to all this stone-faced. Libby adds that even people who didn't like Dorina before now like her. And her fans are even more solidly behind her.

Larry asks Libby for feedback on Lavinia. Libby says that people find Lavinia unapproachable. And people are now wondering where Barbara is because she's no longer visible. In other words, Lavinia is the opposite of Dorina.

Larry tells Lavinia that she needs to make changes to her life.

Dorina and Emilio are walking in the hallways of the studio after Dorina's interview and message for Rosamia. Emilio says that it's possible Rosamia has heard your message. But the tough thing with Rosamia is that once she's made up her mind, you can't change it anymore. He tells Dorina that many times during their marriage, he has had to give in because he can't win an argument. But, he says with a smile, Rosamia is always the first to come back and say sorry.

At the small apartment, Rita is in the living area while the private nurse is there working with Barbara when Lavinia and Larry arrive. Rita asks the nurse to give them some privacy, then asks Lavinia why she's come to visit.

Barbara asks Lavinia if something has happened, if there is a problem. Lavinia says she just wants to visit and see how they're doing. Rita is quick to tell Lavinia that they're doing fine, that Nico and Zossimo have not abandoned them.

Lavinia does not acknowledge the barb. Instead, she says she has also brought along tickets to the grand showdown. Barbara replies that they already have tickets from Dorina. When Lavinia looks disappointed, Barbara says it's okay, that she can still make use of them. But Lavinia is quick to reply that she'll just give them to the maids of one of their neighbors.

Rita is still suspicious. She asks Lavinia point blank why she came. Lavinia says she's done with the fighting and that she wants them to come back home with her. Rita turns to look at Barbara to gauge her reaction before turning back to Lavinia and saying that they're fine where they are. After all, she doesn't treat them like family, because she keeps reminding them constantly of what she's done for them.

Now angry also, Lavinia asks her just what it is they want from her -- isn't it that they want to be with her, that they want her to help pay for the expenses? She says she's willing to do all that and they shouldn't give her a hard time about it.

At her words, Barbara struggles to get up and Rita assists her. With tears in her eyes, Barbara tells her that they don't need Lavinia's help or her money.

Larry interjects at that point to say that they should accept Lavinia's offer, especially since she made the first move.

Rita tells them it's all the more suspicious that Lavinia has come and that Larry is here. They obviously want or need something. Maybe this is just a promotional gimmick. Lavinia doesn't acknowledge. Rita says -- you mean to tell me Oscar is not here with you? When Lavinia doesn't answer, Rita rushes to the window and looks outside. True enough, Oscar is out there waiting with a a videocam.

Disappointed and angry, Rita orders Lavinia and Larry to get out. She has to repeat herself a few times, but they eventually leave. Barbara cries at this latest evidence of her daughter's duplicity. Rita can only try to comfort her.

Emilio and Rosamia visit an apartment and the landlady is explaining to them that Rosamia was living there for a while. She said that Rosamia had asked her to be discreet and she knew that it was tough to have any privacy when you're a celebrity, so she kept quiet.

But, the landlady explains, she saw Dorina's message to Rosamia earlier on TV, and she was moved by what Dorina had said, so she contacted them. Unfortunately, Rosamia has already packed all her bags and she left earlier.

In the car, Larry tells Lavinia that there may be another way to get her family to come back. Maybe if she were to give them a car. He says Rita may be tough but Barbara may agree. Lavinia is just quiet.

Kylie and Oman are working on philosophy homework at school but Oman is lost in thought. Oman says rather than discussing philosophy, they should talk about whether or not he should go to Iloilo.

At the Pineda home, Dorina is chatting with Adora in the living room. She tells Adora that Gary sent a text message saying their ship has docked at Singapore and that they will soon be leaving for Amsterdam. Adora teases Dorina that Gary may have already gone but in reality he's singing "I left my heart in Zoni records."

Kylie asks Oman what's holding him back from accepting the job. Oman says a lot of things. Kylie is quick to ask him -- a lot of things or just one...?

Adora says she misses Oman, that she hasn't seen him around in a while. Dorina says he's busy with his studies and his girlfriend. Adora is shocked to learn he has a girlfriend.

Now uncomfortable with the way the conversation is going, Oman changes the subject and says they should be talking about their homework. Just then Kylie sees her boyfriend Andre and tries to hide behind a tree so she won't be spotted. When Oman asks her what's going on, Kylie is upset, and says that she just spotted her ex but he's now got a new girlfriend.

Dorina tells Adora that Kylie confessed that she likes Oman. And Oman told her that he's starting to like Kylie. And the other night, she learned that Kylie is introducing Oman to her father. So she can only conclude that their relationship is becoming official.

Oman asks Kylie why she seems to be jealous about her boygriend being with another girl.

Adora asks Dorina why she looks sad at the thought of Oman being with Kylie. Dorina denies it and says she's happy for Oman.

Oman is shocked when Kylie suddenly starts crying. He stands so that Kylie can't be seen by her boyfriend.

Adora asks Dorina if she thinks Kylie is okay. Dorina says yes, that Kylie is very pretty. And that it's okay with Kylie even though Oman is not rich. So they seem like a good match.

Kylie now has herself under control. She says she knows she shouldn't be crying over her ex, but that she couldn't stop herself. Oman says to her that she must still love him. Kylie agrees, saying she thought she was over the guy, that she was starting to fall for someone else, but as it turns out, she doesn't love Oman. She apologizes, but Oman smiles and says that it's okay.

Adora says it's good that Oman is happy. She says she loves oman like a son, so she wants him to be happy.

Kylie says maybe it's because she was feeling vulnerable at the time, and Oman was a new friend and he was fun to be with. She really thought that she wanted to be with Oman, but it turns out she was wrong.

Oman says he understands completely, that like her, he also tried to look for someone else to replace... (his voice trails off). He thought he also liked Kylie.

Kylie asked him if it's Dorina he really likes and he nods. Kylie says he should tell Dorina how he feels especially since Gary's no longer there, ther's no more competition. Oman says Gary's not the problem. The problem is that Dorina doesn't want him. Kylie says that was then and things may have changed. She urges him to go see Dorina.

Oman says he's heard her say no once already. He doesn't think he can bear it if she says no again.
