Episode 9.2

Rosamia tells Dorina that only Lauro Calma knew that she had a husband and daughter and that it was Lauro who convinced her that she should keep it a secret. She said she went along with it since her daughter was lost anyway. She said her husband lost their daughter and that's why she can't forgive him. Rosamia also says that Emilia Rose would be around Dorina's age.

Dorina says if it makes Rosamia feel better, she can consider her a daughter. Rosamia says anyone would want someone like Dorina to have as a daughter. Dorina says if that's the case, Rosamia should allow Dorina to take care of her, and that she should listen when Dorina says she should stop drinking.

Emilio is waiting with his cab near the church. His friend Bombi asks for the sketch of "Doris" to help him search.

Adora is still in the kitchen of her restaurant, hiding from her customers just in case Emilio returns. When Minda tells her that Emilio actually has the right to claim Dorina, Adora says she will not give up Dorina to an ex-con like Emilio, even if they were to fight to the death.

Dorina is about to leave Rosamia's home, when she notices the crib in the next room. Rosamia explains that the crib contains all the gifts that she has prepared for her daughter, just in case they were to meet again. There's a gift there for every birthday and Christmas that has passed in the last 17 years. Dorina tells her not to give up hope because she believes Rosamia and her daughter will be reunited eventually.

Larry takes Lavinia to a restaurant and says this is just a little celebration because he's got a lot of commercials lined up for her, and she's being eyed to sing the theme song of the latest star cinema movie. Lavinia is happy. Larry then presents Lavinia with a large bouquet of flowers. When Lavinia asks him what the flowers for, he says he just wants to apologize for pressuring her the past few days... he's just concerned about her career. Lavinia is gracious and says it's her fault anyway. Larry says -- you know I would do anything for you. She kisses him lightly on the cheek and thanks him.

Nico tells Dorina he's fast-tracking her album's release and that he's working on another endorsement deal. He says Lavinia's wine-throwing actually helped Dorina. He also warns her that Lavinia's camp will be sure to make another move later, they just don't know when or where or how. He advises her to never change and always stay true to herself, to not let what people say or do affect her or bother her. Let intrigues just go in one ear and out the other. He tells her she's becoming more famous, that her star is shining more brightly. Very soon she'll surpass Lavinia. Dorina tells Nico she owes it all to him, because he's the one who packaged her, trained her, molded her, and believed in her.

Chris and Jay tell Gary that they're wasting so much time waiting for the rest of the band to arrive for rehearsals. Jack walks in with Rita and announces Rita will be joining as an additional guitarist on the band. Jay and Chris have no problem with her joining since she's not a singer.

Just then, Dorina walks in and Jack says Rita has joined them. Rita tells Dorina it will be okay with her if Dorina doesn't accept her in the band, especially after what Lavinia did to her. Dorina says there's no reason why she wouldn't want Rita in the band. She says the only thing Lavinia and Rita have in common is their last name.

But Dorina worries about Barbara or Lavinia finding out about this. Rita says she simply told her family that she's out with friends. Smiling, she says it's true anyway because people in the band are her friends. Everyone is in agreement, and Rita makes one final request -- that she not perform with them whenever there's TV coverage of the event, because she doesn't want to risk being found out. Jack says it's okay. Dorina welcomes her to the band and they hug.

Emilio pulls up in front of the church in his cab and starts checking the faces of the churchgoers. He lights a candle, makes his prayers, and sits outside the church for a while, still looking around. But his efforts yield nothing. He gets into the cab and drives away.

At home, Adora tries to call Dorina but she's not answering her mobile phone. Bencho asks if they still intend to go to church because Dorina may be tied up in rehearsals for a whilelonger. Oman mumbles -- Rehearsals... more like a date with Gary! Adora asks him if he's in love with Dorina because he's sure acting like he's jealous. Oman denies it, but Adora doesn't believe him.

Dorina finally gets home, escorted by Gary. Oman explains that they were waiting for her to go to Baclaran together but that Adora finally went to bed. After Dorina goes into her house, Oman asks Gary if he's courting Dorina. Gary says yes, then says that Dorina has told him she considers Oman an older brother. Gary then says to Oman -- don't worry, kuya, my intentions are pure -- further infuriating Oman.

Everyone has gathered in the Pineda living room to watch the premiere of Dorina's new Jollibee commercial. Dorina and her family are thrilled. At the Arguelles home, Lavinia is infuriated when she sees Dorina's commercial. She starts destroying things in her bedroom. Barbara stops her and demands to know what she's so upset about. Barbara tells her to calm down and that she'll take care of everything.

Barbara goes to see her old friend Oscar and says she wants to go after Dorina. Oscar says it will be easy.
