Episode 12.2

Rosamia awakens to find herself in her bedroom. She wanders out to the living room to find a single red rose in a glass vase waiting on one of the tables. At first she seems touched to see the rose, but she eventually breaks the stem of the rose in half and throws it to the floor.

Emilio is preparing lunch in the kitchen when Adora enters and says she overheard Emilio's conversation with Dorina. She asks why Dorina is so insistent that he repair his relationship with Rosamia. She demands to know just what Rosamia has to do with him. Emilio checks to make sure no one else is around then reveals that Rosamia is his wife.

Adora is floored by this news. But she is quick to put two and two together and realize that Rosamia is Dorina's mother.

Adora tells him that God is bringing the three of them together and she can do nothing when the truth is finally revealed. Emilio assures her that he will fulfill his promise, that he will not take Dorina from her. Adora says that's his promise. She doesn't think Rosamia will feel the same way. Emilio says Rosamia still doesn't know. Adora says that Rosamia and Dorina are friends. They know each other. She says it's not right that they conceal the truth. Emilio tells her not to think about it for now, and to let him take care of it.

Larry tells Lavinia that cutting Barbara out will not be easy, because it will be impossible to conceal that from Barbara. Lavinia says she doesn't care because she's not going to be outplayed by her own mother. Larry asks her if she's prepared to face Barbara and Lavinia assures him that she is.

Dorina and Adora are putting things away in her bedroom. Adora uses their time together to ask what Dorina would do if someone were to come knocking on her door one day and announce that she's Dorina's mother. Dorina says she would get to know her mother first, but she'll also tell her that she already has a mother. Adora asks what she would do if her mother were to claim her and ask that she leave Adora. Dorina says she won't accept that because Adora is the mother who raised her for 18 years. Adora is comforted.

Nico and Zossimo show Dorina the ad on the back of an entertainment magazine -- her latest product endorsement. Nico also tells her that she has been nominated as Best New Artist and Artist of the Year. He tells her he's proud of her to have been nominated for the top category even when she's just new in the business. Dorina thanks him.

Barbara throws the magazine on the couch next to Lavinia, and says Dorina has a new major endorsement. Lavinia asks her why she's upset -- after all, as her manager, Barbara is the one who is supposed to find her these deals. Barbara counters by saying that if Lavinia were truly popular people would be scrambling all over themselves to get her as an endorser. Instead, she's arrogant and quick to insult people. Barbara tells Lavinia she should be disciplined.

Lavinia reminds Barbara just who is working and bringing money into the home. Barbara grabs Lavinia's face and tells her that her ego is becoming too big. Lavinia pulls Barbara's hand away and says her ego is only becoming as big as her name. She tells Barbara that no one can challenge her anymore. Barbara is shocked as she watches Lavinia walk away.

Gary and Oman arrive at the same time at Dorina's house. Oman is carrying his guitar while Gary has a large bouquet of flowers. They race to the front door and enter together... only to find Dorina sitting in the living room with Nico!

They both have no real explanation for visiting her and stumble over themselves trying to come up with an excuse. Nico tells them that he and Dorina are about to go out to dinner and asks the two guys if they'd like to join them. Oman and Gary awkwardly make excuses and leave.

Dorina and Nico find Gary and Oman discussing their situation outside as they leave for dinner. She invites them once again to join them, but the two guys beg off. As Nico and Dorina drive away, Gary and Oman scramble to Gary's car and they tail Dorina and Nico.

At the restaurant, Dorina asks Nico not to be ashamed of her if she doesn't win the awards. Nico assures her he won't feel any such thing, and says it's already an honor that she was nominated. Dorina asks if Lavinia is also nominated for that category and Nico says yes. Dorina says she hopes Lavinia wins it because she would rather not anger Lavinia further. Nico asks her not to think like that. After all, Lavinia will only get what she deserves.

Dorina asks Nico if he's still in love with Lavinia. Nico asks her if she thinks he can still be in love with Lavinia after what she did to him. He changes the subject and says it's best if they not talk about Lavinia and start eating.

As Nico places food on Dorina's plate, she notices Oman and Gary loitering outside, spying on her and Nico.

Outside the restaurant, Oman and Gary are speculating about Nico's intentions, just as Dorina comes out to confront them. She asks if they are following her and they deny it, even though it's obvious that they are! Oman finally says they just want to be sure that Dorina is okay because they don't know Nico's intentions.

Dorina says Nico is a perfect gentleman and wouldn't do anything. She says it's understandable for Oman to worry, but says she thinks Gary should know better, especially since he knows Nico personally. Dorina says Gary and Oman should just join them for dinner, but the two guys quickly make their excuses and leave.

Later, Nico drops Dorina off at her home. After he drives away, Oman appears on the driveway and starts serenading Dorina with a guitar. He sings "Bakit Ba Ganyan?".

At the end of the song, Dorina applauds and asks if he intends to use that song to audition for the band. Oman tells her that the song is just for her. She tells him he's really got a great voice and reminds him how hard she kept trying before to convince him to sing. Oman asks her if she remembers what he said before about his singing -- that he would sing only for the one that he loves. As Dorina realizes what he means, he tells Dorina that he loves her.

Dorina is upset. She admits that she loves Oman, but as a friend only. He asks if he really doesn't stand a chance of being more than just a friend to her, and Dorina is unable to give him the answer he wants. Dejected and hurt, Oman leaves despite Dorina's request that he stay and that they talk further.

Later, Dorina asks Adora for advice on how to handle the situation, now that her best friend has said he wants to be more than just a friend. Adora asks her if Oman really stands no chance of winning her heart. Dorina says she's never thought of him in that way before, but she admits that Oman and Gary are both important to her, and that she loves Oman dearly as her best friend.

Adora says she should search her heart. When she's ready to love and ready to choose, she will know the answer herself. She also says that she should prepare for the eventuality that she will end up huring one or both of them, because being prepared to love also means you must be prepared to get hurt. And that when the time comes that you're not meant to be together anymore, no matter how prepared you think you are, you will still get hurt.

The next day, Dorina, Adora, and Emilio arrive at the studio. As Gary greets them, Dorina asks if he has seen Oman. Dorina looks worried when Gary says no.
